What is a Moneyhoon ?
I am like many of you single ladies out there, and finding Mr. Right is among the top things that occupy our minds. Whereas men most often can focus on their career, sports, hobbies, Womens lives revolve around the relationships in their lives. The one with the special man in her life, the one's with her children, her parents, the rest of her family and her friends. It is the way we are wired. So after three years of being single and in the "Dating in Your 40's" world after 23 years of marraige, I felt I could possibly help the other single women and men by gathering all of the information, books, tapes, counseling sessions, divorce recovery groups and hours upon hours of conversations with my single and married friends and sharing it with all of you..
How do you find another human being you want to spend the rest of your life with, and once you do... How do you keep the relationship like a honeymoon every day? The name of this site came from a cute "slip" that my boyfriend made when we were away together for the first time. He had neglected to hold the door for me, and I turned to him with a smile and asked... "Oh NO! is the honeymoon over already?" and he replied no baby, the Moneyhoon is not even close to being over!" A mistake, but an adorable one to me, so that phrase has stuck with us now, and when I was deciding on what name I would use.. that one just popped right in my head... I feel passionate that anyone can be happy, it just takes making a choice.

So now what? What is your next step? Having a great relationship involves making a decision to do so. It's not easy, but the extra effort is worth it. Who doesn't want to feel the way they did when they first met? The sparkle in your eyes when you see each other, even if it's only been a few hours? Having all your friends be jealous of that annoying smile that hasn't left your face since the day you met? It's the best!

I'd gladly take credit for being the one who went first. The reward is well worth the effort.
