Infidelity

The dictionary description says:

1	marital disloyalty; adultery.

2.	unfaithfulness; disloyalty.

3.	a breach of trust or a disloyal act; transgression.

Those words sound very sterile, and unemotional, but that breach in trust can be the wound that never heals between a couple.
